SHINRA

Medium: Clear and White Casting Resin, Rigid Foam, Wood, Brass

Size: H 34 inches (86.5cm) X W 23 inches (58.5cm) X D 24 inches (41cm)

I exhibited this piece at the annual Sculpture Group Exhibition Conjoined 2020, organized by the Copro Gallery in Santa Monica, California. SHINRA is a name that comes from "All things moral” or “All things in nature". It represents all things in existence. It is a piece that represents a symbol of God that stands above it all. Six months before the creation of this work, I accomplished my childhood dream of riding an elephant in India while I was on location filming a movie. This work is based off of that elephant.
